“Zion’s Dawning Dahlias” original painting on gallery wrapped canvas was commissioned for the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce in Zionsville, Indiana.

I chose the name in homage to the city’s founder William Zion and to celebrate the dawning of efforts to bring back the to city’s informal nick name “The Dahlia City.”

Originally from Mexico, the Dahlia flower comes in a variety of colors. However, the white dahlias in this painting, symbolize change and transition, which is indicative to what the small town of Zionsville is experiencing now (2020) - or what I sense is taking place. Exciting things are happening in Zionsville, Indiana!

This painting is a one-off original and cannot be reproduced. If you love it, collect it!
